An anxious wait in Pakistan as relatives await news of loved ones.
At least 130 people, most of them children, were killed Tuesday after Taliban gunmen broke into a school in Peshawar and opened fire, in what witnesses say was the bloodiest massacre the country has seen recent years.

"My two sons were studying at the school. The one in Grade 3 has come out safely, but there is no news of the one who is in Grade 9. I have just received a phone call that he is at the hospital. I am going to check now to see whether this is true or not."
The Taliban, waging war against Pakistan in order to topple the government and set up an Islamic state, immediately claimed responsibility for the slaughter.
