amazon could just as easily work out a deal with the ironically named 'integrity staffing solutions' to assure that workers are paid. amazon has a history though, of not respecting workers' rights.
if the workers collectively walked out together past the checkpoints, they may have a case (especially if they have other organizations/unions backing them up).
if the time at these security points are required, people should be paid to be there. the court deems security checkpoints prelimnary or postliminary though, so it's just an extracurricular part of the job.
no one should be surprised by this so-called 'supreme court' vote. and yes, this is under obama. if people cannot see at this point why obama was selected, i don't know what to tell you.
