February 18, 1999 was a sad day for the family and the Muslim world. Grand Ayatollah Mohammed Mohammed-Sadiq Al-Sadr (56 years), along with two of his sons, Mustafa (34 years) and his younger brother Mu'ammal, where murdered by saddam's regime in Iraq.
