You can make pretty much anything with a 3-D printer these days, from candy to tools and even prosthetic limbs. And now you can print that stuff out of garbage. Musician will.i.am and 3D Systems have partnered to create Ekocycle, a 3-D printer that turns recycled plastic into functional objects. In the video above, Popular Science correspondent Katie Linendoll talks to will.i.am and 3D Systems CEO Abe Reichental to find out where the technology could go from here.
