In this week's program, host Mauricio Izquierdo, takes a look at Latino fashion, with its colors, textures, and materials. First we go to Peru, were indigenous women wear "polleras", colorful, handmade embroidered skirts with detailed designs that depict events and stories. Then its on to Mexico, where over the past decade the country's fashion designers have incorporated the work of local artisans and indigenous cultures in their creations, helping these women and their communities in the process. teleSUR
