Ken Griffey, Jr. Presents Major League Baseball video review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Ken Griffey, Jr. Presents Major League Baseball for the Super NES developed by Software Creations and published by Nintendo.
We’re not entirely convinced these aren’t aliens, but regardless, Ken Griffey, Jr. Presents Major League Baseball is a solid—if jarringly fast—game of 16-bit baseball. The game features the likeness of then-Mariners star Ken Griffey, Jr. and is licensed by Major League Baseball, which means it includes real team logos, names and stadiums. Unfortunately, the game was not licensed by the player’s association, which means it has made-up players—or aliens, that’s up for debate. The game features a standard set of game modes for these kind of retro baseball games, as well as a home run derby, which would become a staple in future baseball games. Ken Griffey, Jr. Presents Major League Baseball features single-player and local multiplayer play.
This video review features video gameplay footage of Ken Griffey, Jr. Presents Major League Baseball for the Super NES and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
