From 2007 to 2008 I was a volunteer in a Camphill Community in England, called Botton Village. I lived and worked with people with learning disabilities, such as autism and Down Syndrom, caring for them on the principles of antroposophy. There were a lot of cultural activities in the village, like plays, movie sessions, barn dances,music gigs,etc.

This play is called The Festivities, by Anton Tchekhov. All the people featured in the video were volunteers and carers in the village.

The villagers (how they call people who live in the village and have learning disabilities) were thrilled, and had an amazing time. We did too.
