It’s almost that time of year, when your co-workers and neighbors pressure you into buying boxed sugary treats by using their daughters’ weaponized adorableness. And this year, there’s 3 NEW flavors that you have to try, or you’re a terrible person.

If you’re not a terrible person, but you are a gluten-free person, this is is good news. 2 of these flavors - Toffee-tastic and Trios - have none of that gluten stuff. So you no longer have any defense against the army of Girl Scouts trying to sell you cookies. There’s also Rah-Rah Raisin, which has gluten, and also Greek Yogurt chunks.

All 3 of these flavors seem to be getting in on current trendy food topics, so we’re not placing any bets on them being inducted into the Girl Scout Cookies hall of fame, along with Thin Mints and Samoas/Caramel deLites. Especially since they’re only available in certain regions this year. Which means that maybe you should buy them now… in a couple of years, they may be a collector’s item!!!*

*NOTE: We have no logical reason to believe these cookies will become collector’s items, and this video description should not be taken as professional investment advice.

If you want to know more, you can go “Meet The Cookies” over at the Girl Scouts web site: http://www.girlscouts.org/program/gs_cookies/meet_the_cookies.asp

So, are you going to try out one of the new cookie flavors this year? Or will you stick to your standby order of years past? What’s your favorite Frlaovr of Girl Scout Cookie? (Seriously, we expect some spirited debate in the comments) Are you a Galuten -free, er gluten-free diet follower?
