It’s Valentine’s Day! And here at Tasted, getting hopped up on ill-conceived pink candy is our favorite activity. Right behind drowning in a pit of loneliness and self-loathing. So, let’s get right to it!

You’d think the Valentine’s Day candy market would be pretty well covered, with out-of-season chocolate covered strawberries, drugstore truffles, and those weird conversation hearts that we’re pretty sure no one has ever used for conversation, ever. What we take as a given, the folks at Brach’s have taken as a challenge. They’ve gummier-up those conversation heats. They’re continually stretching Candy Corn beyond it’s intended Halloween season. And they’re basically forcing US to force NOAH to eat even more candy, which he hates anyway.

Who needs a date on Valentine’s Day when you can watch Noah suffer? It’s almost as satisfying as watching Fifty Shades of Grey (not that we’d know or anything…)

The Overlords of Tasted.com love feeding you guys what you love, and you love to watch us try foods for you, so that you don't have to (or so you can decide whether to run out and get some). Thus, we bring you something “unique” from Brach’s AGAIN. Red Velvet Candy Corn - finally two of the most over-used themes are together at last! And Gummi Conversation Hearts!

Do you think Gummi conversation hearts are an improvement over the regular, chalk-based variety? Do you think candy corn can be improved with by the flavor of Red Velvet cake? Does putting a Gummi condom on a candy corn scream romance to you ?(if so… please seek help) Any other seasonal candy we overlooked, and you’d like to see us taste on later editions of the show?

TELL US EVERYTHING!!

Are you going to put out a bowl of these special M&Ms treats this holiday season? Was your decision swayed at all by our team’s review? Have you spotted any other Holiday or Christmas variations on foods in stores that you think we should taste test here on the show?

Let us know in the comments!!
