Genuine Love

Beloved in Christ, we present to you the message titled: Genuine Love.

Brothers and sisters in the Lord I congratulate you for the celebration of the day of Love – Valentine’s Day on 14|02|15 as you do every year.
The Collins Concise Dictionary & Thesaurus define Love as: -

• To have a great affection for a person or a thing
• To have passionate desire for someone
• To like to do something very much
• An intense emotion of affection towards a person or thing
• A deep feeling of sexual attraction
• Whole hearted liking or pleasure in something or something

The celebration of Love must not be an annual event for us; instead, Love should be expressed and practiced every second of our lives. This is to ensure that we never allow the opposite of Love, that is hate to have a place in our life or community.

However, the Love we present to you today is Love as in the scripture. “For God so Love the word that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3: 16 NIV).
