Have a spare moment? Want to learn to barrel roll on BMX? Well, this video probably won't get you all the way there, but it will get you started. In an ideal world you would have a foam pit in which you could practice. In a less than ideal world you would have a 'resi' or resin ramp, which is a softer version of a normal ramp. In the real world you have a chipped concrete fun box that is usually mobbed by children on scooters.

No matter, we push onward! Listen closely as Alex details the ways to take off, spot the landing, and stomp the trick. Then watch as his friend makes numerous painful-looking attempts. Hopefully it will be a little easier for you.
