A 17-year-old boy is dead after suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound during a game of Russian Roulette. Police responded to the Torrance, California apartment complex on Monday following a report of gunfire.

Upon arrival, they determined the teenage victim, identified by family and friends as Jerry, had been shot and he was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. A probe revealed that just prior to his death, the teen produced a .38 Special Revolver and told a number of people in the apartment he was going to play Russian Roulette.
