A small child has written a heart-felt and touching letter to criminals who stole his beloved puppy.

A child has written a heart-felt message to the criminals who stole his beloved dog. Four-year-old Ethan Ferrier recently learned how to write at school and what makes the ordeal so sad is that he decided to address his very first letter to the thieves.

He sweetly noted "To the bad men who took Fern. Can Fern come home now please. I miss her." He signed his name at the bottom and even included a drawing which depicts him, his mother, father and of course Fern.

Ethan was only a toddler when his then 1 year old dog was stolen from the family's Surrey, UK farm in the spring of 2013. Its evident in his letter that he hasn't forgotten about Fern in the nearly 2 years that have passed since the theft.
