A 28-year-old man who was supposed to help care for an elderly woman has been accused of assaulting her. On Tuesday, Thomas Standley was arrested after the 92-year-old victim's daughter, Patricia Haynes heard her mother screaming on the other side of the East Memphis duplex in which they live.
