Obama read a selection of the social media stings—from critiques of his jeans to his impact on beer prices—on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday night as R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts" played softly in the background.

Our favorite, which came paired with a snappy response from the grammar-loving president, comes from @thautho: "somebody send obama some lifehacks on how to be a good president. haha. like, i bet that would help. lol"
