Aamir Khan, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Raju Hirani launched the DVD of PK yesterday. While they revealed that the DVD contained several deleted scenes and portions of the film, Raju Hirani disclosed that he had changed the climax of the movie just before the film released.

Hirani says that the original ending had Anushka and Sushant remembering PK after he returned to his home planet. But after the first screening, Hirani realised that people came out of the theater looking grim and sad. That's when he decided to alter the ending of the film. He said that they edited out just 18 seconds of the climax and that's how PK ends like it does.
