"When tragedy strikes a family, everyone becomes a VICTIM!"
Alice de la Cruz (Angel Aquino) is a working mother and wants to make it big
being a news journalist in a local TV channel KVTV headed by Jane (Sunshine
Cruz). She sets off to the island of Kamandao for a special assignment, regardless
what her husband Mark(Cesar Montano) has told her about it being dangerous.
Once in the island, the rebels ambushed and killed all the reporters.Hearing the
news of the tragic event, Mark is devastated. Alice is survived by one son Buboy
and her husband Mark. Mark wants to move on with his life, he could not change
the past. Only a miracle would bring back Alice.
Sandra(Mercedes Cabral) best friend of Alice moves into town where Mark lives.
She consoles Mark of the loss of Alice and developed a relationship. They seemed
happy together but little do they know what will come their way to change that.
Six months later, a body is found in a rural area. After Detective Bondalo(Ricky
Davao) investigates the case, the body was identified as Alive de la Cruz, she is
found alive. Not having any memory of what happened to her. Alice only
remembers up to the part where she got ambushed.
When Mark learns of this, he does not know whether to feel happy or sad since
he had moved on with his life. But in this scenario, it would be best to come back
to Alice for the sake of their son, Buboy. Mark and Alice reunites.
As days go by, Alice begins to remember pieces of what really happened to her.
Slowly, her psychological reactions to the past reflect her present actions. She
does things that she does not normally do. Her reaction on learning of Mark and
Sandra's relationship even made Alice worst.
Another tragedy then sets in because of Alice's present psychological state. It is only resolved after truly accepting what has the first tragedy caused and rectification of the problem.
