I'd have never thought that an NIS game would have a damage limit. However, unlike other games, the limit is so high that you're guaranteed to defeat anything in one hit. In this case, it's on something that doesn't even have 6-figure max HP. Renya is a beast with his level 5 stuff, but with the "grounded" mod, coupled with an ATK-oriented title, he can get that kind of damage.
