Luke 19v41-44:- Jesus lamented for our Father sent Messengers, the Prophets, and the Chosen People beat them away not listening to them.

Jesus Weeps over Jerusalem

41 And when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it, 42 saying, "Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. 43 For the days will come upon you, when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every side 44 and tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. Remember that our Father sent Messengers to them to mend their ways but the Rabbis beat them up. John, the Baptist was the last Prophet sent and they refused to listen to Him. They were rather Happy to see the death of John, the Baptist – Luke 16v16 that Law and Prophets were till John, the Baptist. Then, our Father sends His Own Son so that they will recognise Him as the Christ and treat Him with Great Honour but they rather killed Him to occupy the Wine Press, the Jerusalem School of Theology producing old wine, the Scriptures but corrupted. Here, Jesus is predicting the Great Siege in which the Temple was destroyed forever and many died like flies. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation. Complete Destruction never seen by Israel before."
