Youth unemployement: EU working to find more jobs

How successful are the EU employment policies? More than 1 billion euros will be distributed over the next few months to help young job seekers in 20 EU countries. Over 5 million Europeans under 25 are currenlty out of work. This represents an average youth unemployment rate of more than 23% in the Euro area, with figures rising abover 50% in places like Spain and Greece.
