Argentine President Cristina Fernandez announced that previously secret documents pertaining to the 1982 Malvinas War will be declassified. The documentation will be housed in the Malvinas Museum in an oral archive with testimonies by veterans. Among the revelations contained in the declassified documents are reports of torture, mistreatment, and killings by the military dictatorship in power at the time against its own troops. An investigation into such abuses was terminated by the country's Supreme Court in a controversial ruling in February. Leonel Poblete reports from Buenos Aires. teleSUR
