A gender-neutral restroom has been established in the White House complex
The Obama administration has stressed its dedication to promoting the acceptance of the LGBT community as well as ensuring its workplace rights.
Politico reports that as a means of showing that commitment, a gender-neutral restroom has been established in the White House complex.
Located in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, the facility is accessible to staff and guests alike.
Also noted by a spokesman is that people are allowed to select among the designated male and female bathrooms throughout the White House properties based on the gender with which they identify.
