Mistaking human ashes for cocaine is in the news again after 17-year-old Missouri teenager Devin Gesell grabbed a 15 and 16-year-old accomplice and broke into a home in St. Peters late last year. They stole video games, pills and over 800 bucks in cash.
On their way out, they noticed a small wooden box tucked away. At home they opened the box to discover white powder. The nitwits were thrilled, thinking it was an awesome score of cocaine. But then one of the numbskulls tasted it to make sure and, nope -- it was not cocaine.
The trio told cops they tossed the person’s remains in the trash after realizing it wasn’t Colombian marching powder, but they don’t remember which trash dumpster they put it in. Authorities will try ringleader Devin Gesel on a long list of felonies, as an adult.
