An 8-month-old reddish-brown pitbull puppy who went missing on Thanksgiving in San Jacinto, California was reunited with her owners, Christopher Ingrassi and Heather Lowery, on Friday.
Riverside County Department of Animal Services found black pitbull on the street and when they scanned for a microchip, they found that she was actually a missing reddish-brown pitbull puppy named Coco.
It is clear that Coco escaped from home, was stolen off the street and then spray-painted black to thwart her owners’ attempts to find her.
However, after being home for only two days, Coco went missing again.
“I let her out about 9 o'clock [Saturday night] to go potty,” Heather Lowery told the Press Enterprise. "She dug a hole underneath a gate."
If anyone spots an 8-month-old pitbull puppy, please call the Lowerys at 951-537-0018.
