Authorities are continuing their mission to rescue 12 workers who have been trapped since a section of tunnel collapsed in central Vietnam on Tuesday.
Twelve workers have been trapped for two days after a part of a tunnel in the Lam Dong province collapsed due to unknown reasons
The water level has risen by one metre inside the tunnel, but authorities said the workers still remain safe, according to Thanhnien News.
Rescuers are using machineries to drill holes to free the workers.
They have drilled more than six metres into the collapsed section of the tunnel, but drilling is made difficult because of the large amount of rocks and soil in the rubble. Rescuers also tried drilling from the top and the other end of the tunnel.
Oxygen is being pumped and food is being transported into the tunnel. The trapped workers are not in immediate danger.
