Last week a grandmother was rushed to hospital after she said she felt dizzy and passed out.

Turns out she’d suffered from constipation for years and sometimes had to use ten enemas a day in order to do her business.

Ten pre-packaged enemas a day can get a little costly, so the grandmother decided she’d buy rubber enema tubes and make her own. She used isopropyl alcohol and water in her enemas and anyone with a passing amount of medical knowledge will tell you that’s not what goes into an enema.

When the grandmother was rushed the hospital doctors also realized that the grandmother wasn’t losing her eyesight due to old age, but because of alcohol poisoning! You hear stories about people drinking moonshine who go blind, this is because methanol is poisonous to humans and can be absorbed into the bloodstream and carried to the eyes where it causes blindness.

Properly manufactured alcohol contains ethanol.
