A teacher at Baltimore’s Carver Vocational-Technical high school has been placed on administrative leave after video of her in a fight with a student was posted online.
The video was shot after a verbal altercation that started in a classroom continued in a hallway escalated into a fight. In the video, the teacher can be heard telling the student: “I’ll kill you up in here [expletive], what the [expletive] you think this is.” Another student tries to break it up, but the two continue to fighting.
According to the Baltimore Sun, the yet-to-be identified teacher suffered minor injuries. She was placed on administrative leave after videos of the incident were published online, school officials said on Wednesday.
The student, a 17-year-old senior, was charged with assault and released to a parent.
