Pope Francis announced a Latin American tour that will begin in Ecuador. President Rafael Correa confirmed that the Pontiff, who he described as a "breath of fresh air" for the Catholic Church, will visit Guayaquil and Quito July 6-8 in what will be his first official visit to the region. It has been 30 years since a pope has visited Ecuador, where 81% of the population is Catholic. After Ecuador, the Pontiff will visit Bolivia and Paraguay. Liz Scherffius reports from Quito. teleSUR
