This video lecture from Electrochemistry (F.Sc. first year Chemistry) covers the fundamentals of electrolytic conduction. Electrolytic conduction involves the process of ionization of a fused salt or a solution of salt containing ions also called an electrolyte. These ions undergo a non spontaneous chemical reaction driven by an electric source through the electrodes. As opposed to metallic conduction, in electrolytic conduction current is carried by ions and the effect of temperature is also reversed. The conduction and the process overall is governed by Faraday’s laws of electrolytic conduction. Find more e-learning material and educational video lectures in Urdu at maktab.pk.
