A Texas veterinarian has been fired after posting to Facebook about how she killed a cat with a bow and arrow.

31-year-old Kristen Lindsey posted a photo to Facebook showing her posing with the dead animal. She wrote that she killed the cat because she thought it was feral.

According to the Daily Mail, Lindsey was soon fired from her job at Washington Animal Clinic, in Brenham, Texas once got word out about her actions online.

In a twist, reports suggest that the cat might have been a missing domesticated tabby cat from Lindsey's neighborhood.

That cat was named Tiger and was reported missing shortly before Lindsey posted the image.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
