Calling bullsh*t on someone who has a gun pointed at your head isn't normally the best move. But that's what one ballsy Australian shop clerk did when a masked man strode into his store and demanded money.
This crook's plan to rob a convenience store in the small town of Bendigo in Australia didn't quite go to plan.
The store's security camera captured it all: It began looking good for the masked idiot; he walked to an empty store.
But moments later night shift clerk Steve Ewart returned back to his post, looking cool as ice after just six weeks on the job. The robber demands he hand over the cash.
Unlucky for him, Ewart is a gun enthusiast and instantly recognised the man's weapon. It's a cap gun replica of a design from the 1960s — completely harmless.
Ewart tells the masked man "It's not gonna happen", and whatever was said, it clearly didn't take much. Realizing that the jig is up, the intruder is at a loss as to his next move.
And Ewart instantly becomes an internet hero.
