Elan Gale, known for being the outspoken producer of reality TV series "The Bachelor" is now Twitter's newest viral hero, after live tweeting his scuffle with a fellow passenger on a flight to Phoenix this past Thanksgiving holiday.
The disgruntled passenger, only known as 'Diane in seat 7A' was not too happy about the delay the Phoenix bound jet was experiencing on Thanksgiving morning. She belly-ached to the flight attendants about how she "wanted to spend her holiday with family, not some people she barely knew'. The rant didn't go unnoticed by Mr Gale, who was also flying home to L.A. to spend the holiday with his mother.
Deciding to stand up for passengers who are tired of self-entitled people everywhere, he took to Twitter and delivered a play-by-play account of the antics aboard the flight, including his offering of two rounds of drinks (and their subsequent refusal) along with the handwritten notes they passed each other. Using the in-flight wi-fi to beam his tweets back to his followers, Gale's fans egged him on throughout the exchange.
The final volley took place on the ground in Phoenix's Sky Harbor Airport, when Gale tried to give her one last note, she simply slapped her. Airline staff held her from further attacks, and Mr Gale decided not to involve police, simply slipping her the note he had intended to give her and walking off to catch his connecting flight. Diane on the other hand was told by the gate attendants to prepare to spend the night in Phoenix.'
