A Chinese man was so drunk that he jumped on a rake while trying to climb over the wall near his home in Henan Province China.

The 37-years-old man surnamed Peng got drunk with his friend. When it was time to go home, he couldn't find his key, so he thought he would climb over the wall to get home. It was really dark and he didn't notice a rake leaning against the wall. When he jumped off the wall, he landed square on the rake.

The subsequent blow was so painful that he lay on the ground screaming. His family rushed to his aid and called for help.

Doctors found the handle stuck around 20cm up his anus. About ten rescue workers helped him remove the stick after slicing off the top using a chainsaw.

The handle was successfully removed after surgery and the man is recovering in hospital, although he is still under observation because of the threat of infections.
