Mumbai: The state government has grand plans for cleaning and beautification of the Mithi river in the city. According to the plan, an area of around 12 km on both sides of the river will soon have gardens, flooring and benches to sit on. The idea was floated by environment minister Ramdas Kadam in a meeting with BMC officials.
