Suriname: National Democratic Party Set to Win

According to preliminary results from Monday's general election in Suriname, the party of incumbent President Desi Bouterse has a comfortable lead. With 80% of votes counted, it seems that his National Democratic Party (NDP) will take 27 seats in the 51-seat National Assembly. A final count is expected soon. teleSUR
