Firefighters in Lancaster Township, Pennsylvania responded to a call regarding a kitten stuck in a storm drain. The small size of the storm drain required them to enlist the help of a six-year-old.

Animals manage to get themselves stuck in all sorts of places. And sometimes, help arrives from an unlikely individual.
In Pennsylvania, a kitten was discovered stuck inside a storm drain outside an apartment complex. 
The Lancaster Township Fire Department was called to rescue it. 
A four man crew arrived on the scene, but realized no adult could reach the feline due to their size. 
The six-year-old daughter of the woman who reported the confined cat volunteered to help. 
She was lowered into the opening
