The 37th round of peace talks between the Colombian government and FARC rebels is proceeding in Havana, Cuba, with the issue of victims’ reparations at the center of negotiations. On Tuesday, FARC spokesperson Mireya Andrade called on the Colombian government to advance rapidly on a concrete agreement that will award comprehensive compensation to the victims of the armed conflict. She also insisted on clarification of the facts as a fundamental part of victims’ rights. Negotiators hope to reach an agreement by June 4. Natalia Margarita reports from Bogota for teleSUR.
