Gautam Gulati is one lucky guy! He will be playing the role of popular cricketer-turned-belowed commentator Ravi Shastri in mentor Ekta Kapoor’s biopic on the life and times of Mohammad Azharuddin, 'Azhar,' that stars Emraan Hashmi.

The friendship between Azhar and Ravi is an integral part of the growth of the latter, both professionally and personally and Mr. Gulati is psyched to play the left-arm orthodox spinner, a role for which he has been training for the past one month. Umm…nice!

The Bigg Boss 8 winner has been attending workshops and watching old interviews in order to seem more like Ravi in his cricketing heyday and get his personality right to the tee. It is just a matter of time before he takes the field and practises Shastri's infamous 'chapati' shots. Does that sound exciting?
