Apoc gives a new take on familiar horror motifs, playfully referencing German Expressionist films of the 1920s and late '90s rap videos in the process. As Apoc narrates a tale of the ups and downs of a young romance and the inevitable blame game that ensues, "suspicious creatures" manifest, seemingly awakened from the primal caverns of the couple's minds, and march to the forefront of their conflict.
