Last year,there was an issue with DirecTV and some US cable providers using the month old Global Canada airdates in the guide and the episodes would be flagged as reruns,so it wouldn't record the episode,if it was set to record only new episodes.
Set DVRs/timers to record "New and Reruns" just in case that problem happens again(and it likely will)
