It may be a symbol from a civil war fought long ago, but the Confederate flag still casts a lon shadow over the southern US states. In South Carolina last week it was removed from a pole next to the State House, a move which led to a strong reaction. RT's Maria Finoshina is travelling through the southern states to see what issues are concerning people there. And on her stop in Georgia, she found a ban on the confederate flag may actually be having the opposite effect to the one intended.
