Ahmedabad: Aimed at combating crime besides creating a dossier of anti-social elements, an action plan has been introduced in the city according to which police will visit jewellery shops every two hours. The fresh plan has been put forward in the backdrop of spurt in crime such as loot, burglary and robbery. The initiative by city police will now give relaxing sleep to the jewellers of the city who were under constant fear.
