US Defence Secretary Ashton Carter met on Wednesday with King Salman of Saudi Arabia, as part of a regional tour trying to allay the concerns of US allies that Iran could still be able to develop an atomic weapon. Carter, who flew in from Jordan, is to return to Amman mid-afternoon.
