Speaking on the Parliament logjam, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Monday (August 3) said, "I have convened a meeting of all important leaders from different political parties at 12 PM today and we'll be discussing ways and means to move forward." "We want parliament to function and the government is willing to discuss each and every issue, the concerned ministers will also respond," he said. "As and when required, if there is a need the Prime Minister will also intervene, there is no problem on that account. And I would appeal to all political parties to allow the parliament to function and then let us discuss the issues," he added.
