There's ordinary ice climbing and then there's what Will Gadd does. Arguably the most influential ice climber in the world, Will has been pushing the sport in new and exciting directions for years now. His boundless enthusiasm and ever-present have-a-go attitude have taken him around the world on some truly outrageous projects. He's climbed the disappearing glacier ice of Kilimanjaro and even has projects lined up in Antarctica. Even by his own high standards 2014 was something of a banner year for Will. He became the first person to climb the full height of Helmcken Falls, the world's premier spray ice venue, and the first person in history to ice climb Niagra Falls. Will was recently in Chamonix for the Arc'teryx Alpine Academy and we sat down with him to find out the details on these two ground-breaking projects.
