Hiroshima's survivors: 70 years of medical scrutiny

Seventy years ago, for the first time in history, atomic bombs were used against civilians, first in Hiroshima then three days later in Nagasaki. The US bombing dealt a gigantic blow to imperial Japan, forcing it to surrender. But the human cost of the bombing was staggering: in Hiroshima, 85,000 people died immediately or within the next few hours. Others later died from radiation and cancer. To this day, survivors are still being closely monitored. Our reporters met with one.
