A dramatic amateur video has emerged online of an enormous wave inundating the streets of San Sebastian, Spain on Monday.

Locals are inspecting flood damage on a city street when suddenly they hear the sound of water and see a giant wave crashing over the sea wall onto the street.

The amateur cameraman and those with him start to run but turn around to see water from the wave washing around their feet and beneath parked cars.
