Several cars were left submerged in water after a heavy downpour around 2pm yesterday caused a flood at the International Islamic University, Gombak campus near Kuala Lumpur.

According to a spokesperson for the university the flood which caused vehicles to be submerged with waters reaching up to waist level is believed to have been caused by a river that runs through the campus overflowing.
