Maybank CEO Abdul Wahid Omar and Persatuan Hindraf Malaysia chairperson P Waythamoorthy have been sworn in as senators in Dewan Negera this morning as the latter's estranged brother, P. Uthayakumar faces sedition charges in KL sessions court.

When KiniTV approached Waythamoorthy for comment on his brother's case, the new deputy minister in the prime minister's office responded with laughter.
