The police sedition probe of the Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) appears to be continuing unabated as nine of its members have been summoned to provide statements yet again.
Those summoned, including five of the six recently released from the emergency ordinance (EO) detention, are to give their statements at Arau district police headquarters in Perlis next Monday.
Speaking at a press conference at the PSM headquarters in Kuala Lumpur today, PSM secretary-general S. Arulchelvan, Sungai Siput MP Dr M. Jeyakumar and lawyer N Surendran described the police action as harassment.
"All these individuals have been called for questioning, they've been remanded and questioned on the same issue. If you go and question them another round, this is abuse of power and harassment by the police.
